IMMUNE
Be a white blood cell. Catch the germs before they win.
How we made it
Most top-down action games feature soldiers or spaceships. In IMMUNE, you play as a white blood cell defending the human bloodstream against hostile pathogens.
There is not a single image sprite in the game. Every cell, bacterium, and fluid current is drawn directly in code on an HTML5 Canvas using soft-body mathematical curves that squish and pulse at 60 FPS. The pulsing heartbeat audio is synthesized in real time via the Web Audio API.
The tension comes from two health bars: your white blood cell’s membrane and the host patient’s vitals. Your own cell can respawn, but the host’s body is fragile—if the infection spreads unchecked, the run ends. Built from scratch in about a month, it turns microscopic biology into high-stakes arcade survival.
