Mountain Runner
An endless run across snowy mountain trails.
How we made it
Mountain Runner was the first game our studio ever built. Inspired by the offline Chrome Dino runner, we wanted real downhill momentum and an authentic personal touch: the playable character is a pixel-art sprite of our studio’s founder charging down the snowy slopes.
Built in Godot, the obstacle spawner uses modular terrain chunks with strict landing clearances to ensure every downhill run feels fast yet fair. Sliding compresses your hit box to clear low branches, while double jumps clear wide crevasses.
Because this was our very first project, the original source project files were lost over time. Rather than retiring the game, we preserved the original v1 build as studio heritage. While larger in size (~37 MB) than our newer lightweight games, it marks where our studio began.
